The Staff were super friendly and relaxed and the position of the Pub right next to the beach/harbour is superb. We ate in the pub restaurant where the food was excellent, with good sized portions.
Dislikes:
The breakfast room is also the pool/games room and is very Spartan. Breakfast in the bar area would have been preferable but was only available to people with dogs.

the room had a wonderful view of the bay. the beds were comfortable the breakfast generous but milk had to be requested and one jug shared with all guests
Dislikes:
the room was dirty with thick dust covering surfaces, we both thought we were suffering from hay fever but soon realised it was a reaction to the dust. our bathroom was not ensuite but across the hall

Comfortable bed, loved the way you have to drive through those tiny streets of Mevagissy to get there, I thought I would squash pedestrians.
Dislikes:
Shower needs instructions as its rather old fashioned and I couldn't get it to work.

"A friendly haven -even in a storm!"
A four night break in this area (after three days near St. Ives)to explore the coastline and visit The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. The location was superb (despite an unfortunate daily 6 mile detour due to roadworks in Mevagissey). The breakfasts were generous and well cooked. An excellent choice of beers and ciders accompanied quality pub food in the evenings. We ate three times in the bar and were not disappointed once. A wholesome, magical place with lovely, attentive staff. Read less
Likes:
The feeling of remoteness -although only a short mile away from Mevagissey. The location at the water's edge provided us with views of spectacular waves during the autumn high tides.
Dislikes:
No. The pub is old, quirky and has history. Any one who wants a sanitised, corporate experience should not stay and should not criticise when they don't find everything immaculate.
